Date Night And Update On My Ouchie

Thank goodness, Calvert has showed up and was in time to join us at Date Night. He even brought me a gift!! Thanks Calvert, I love bones. You're so thoughtful.

Santa and I had a great time at Date Night with Calvert, Guinness and Groucho. Thanks so much to you guys for being our escorts. We would also like to thank the hostess, Twix, for hosting such a great party.

Now that the party's over, I would like to give you, my friends, an update on my ouchie. Remember the bruise that I got last week? It looked bad, doesn't it? But, really, it didn't hurt much. I could still play bitey, running, jumping, catching, zoomies and all else.

It's totally gone now! Thank you all, for your concern.

And today, I'm back on duty...keeping a watch over Grandma, guarding her and staying by her side and giving her lots of kisses too.

But It Doesn't Hurt!

The humans got a shock when they saw what's on my belly...

I've got a bruise there! It is just above the surgery scar.

They kept asking how I got it and does it hurt. The thing is that I don't even know when I got it! I could have played too rough with Santa and Christmas and bumped into somewhere or even got bitten by either of them.

But it doesn't hurt a bit. I am fine!

Just a little update on my wound...it is getting better day by day. There is still a little bit of discharge from where it is red there. Some of you have asked what is the surgery for and some of you have guessed...yes, I have been spayed.

Updates On Where It Hurts

Thank you, my friends, for your concern and well wishes. The Vet said my wound is healing well and assured Mummy and Aunty Diana that there is nothing to worry about. He did give me a cream to apply on the wound. We will need to go back to him on Saturday to have the stitches removed.

At the meantime, I still need to wear this waistband. I don't mind wearing this waistband.

The wound doesn't look too good. Aunty Diana couldn't find any plaster to keep the new bandage in place so she said I need to wear this waistband to keep it in place till we get to the vet's office today.

Aunty Diana is such a nervous wreck. I told her that I am alright and the wound isn't hurting. I am still my active self but she still insist on calling the Vet for an appointment. We are now waiting for Mummy to come to take us to the vet's office.

I kept wanting to go but only a drop or two that came out and it looked a bit bloodied. This got the humans worried and they called the vet. The vet said that it is normal within these initial three days and there is nothing to worry about.

Ooh...I'm In Pain

This morning, Mummy and Aunty Diana took us all, in the car, for a ride. I thought we are going to the park!

No, we did not go to the park. Instead they left me at the vet's!! They told me to be a good girl and that it's going to be over in just a while and they'll be back for me.

I'm so drowsy now. The humans set up a little room for me so that I can have my rest.

Christmas, I can't play with you now...

The Christmas Holidays

On Christmas Day, we were busy entertaining our guests. This family came all the way from Kuching, Sarawak for the holidays and to visit Grandma. These boys were great fun to play with!

After they left, we have some aunts that came to visit and to stay over. We were the perfect hosts and allowed them our sofa.

This is Mummy's niece from Singapore. She brought us lots of treats and we love her...so we chatted with her and played with her.

We allowed the humans our "space" and they were "noisy" chatting and sharing lots of snacks among themselves.

We tried to mingle but they don't seemed to notice our existence. They didn't even share their snacks with us!!

Maybe we should do some tricks to gain some treats, what do you think?

Oh well, we did get our treats later that night. It has been a house full of aunts for two days and when it was time for them to leave, they wanted to have their pictures taken with us!
